Massachusetts AG begins inquiry into iTunes account fraud

Apple may be in violation of a state law in Massachusetts that requires companies to notify the commonwealth of any security breaches that result in a risk of identify theft or fraud for residents of the state, says the state's Attorney General, Martha Coakley. She added that she herself was a victim of iTunes fraud that emptied her bank account, after thieves stole her debit card information and used it to make a slew of purchases from iTunes, reports Threatpost, a Kaspersky security blog....
